Osteopath

Strength & Conditioning Trainer

Fellow of Applied Functional Science

A Bit About Me

I graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy after studying for four years at the University College of Osteopathy. I've always been very interested in the human body, its functional ability and biomechanics of movements.

In 2016 I became a qualified strength and conditioning trainer, assisting individuals of all ages in achieving their goals and enhancing their physical performance through exercise.

This journey ultimately led me to pursue osteopathy, and in 2023, I became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science after completing a 40-week course at the Gray Institute. That same year, I joined the patient care team at the University College of Osteopathy, where I lecture rehabilitation and osteopathic technique.

I was born and raised in Iceland. Outside of work I enjoy exercising and spending quality time with friends and family.

Why Did I Become An Osteopath?

As osteopaths we have the privilege of time to get to know our patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of each individual, not just the signs and symptoms they are presenting with. That allows us to diagnose the root of the problem, understand possible predisposing and maintaining factors to both relieve the symptoms and address factors that could be causing and/or maintaining your symptoms to prevent them from reoccurring.

As osteopaths, we are interested in the individual in front of us to provide the most optimal treatment and management plan tailored specifically for that individual.
