Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a holistic and a patient centred approach to healthcare. Osteopaths are known for their expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of the musculoskeletal system and its relationship with other systems in the body.
What to expect during a consultation?
During your consultation, we start the session by taking time to understand your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle, which will then guide the physical examination. This comprehensive information will help me identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and develop a treatment and management plan for the best possible outcomes.
Before any treatment is carried out, I will explain the diagnosis and outline the treatment and management process, ensuring you have a complete understanding and can provide a fully informed consent for your treatment and management plan.
Treatment typically includes various hands-on techniques, dry-needling, active movements, exercises, and practical advice to help alleviate or manage your symptoms and promote recovery.
What do osteopaths treat?
Osteopaths can help with a wide range of symptoms and conditions. For example; low back pain, neck pain, arthritic pain, headache, joint pain, sports injury, shoulder pain, knee pain, ankle injury, and sciatica to name a few.
If you are not sure if osteopathy can help with your symptoms, email anitatheosteo@gmail.com and we can discuss it further.
